A TECHNOLOGY LITTLE-KNOWN BY INDUSTRIALISTS

The equipment used and experience gained over 15 years at the Maillard Industrie Group in rotational moulding has brought the group to introduce and promote a new and unknown process in the transformation of plastics. Rotational moulding offers many advantages and responds to many applications.

The Maillard Industrie Group has been a technical partner either in offering rotational moulding as an alternative solution to conventional transforming or providing customers already familiar with its experience and expertise.

The Maillard Industrie Group has the human skills and technical resources needed to provide the most appropriate answers to all questions, from technical design to product engineering, by managing the designing, modelling, prototyping, first-off tooling, and mass production phases, from product definition to product manufacturing.

Taking into consideration technical constraints and appearance criteria, permanent research into improving production processes and raw materials make it possible to produce parts that meet the mechanical resistance and precision requirements of applications that constantly evolve and vary.

The Maillard Industrie Group designs and produces all its moulds and tools for perfect control of production parameters.
Because our high-speed machining centre is directly linked to the research department, manufacturing of moulds, iron cast models and tools is rapid as well as flexible and reactive.

 
 

A TECHNIQUE WITH MANY ADVANTAGES

The most common plastic materials can be rotationally moulded: high and low-density polyethylene, polypropylene, polyamides 6.6 and 12 etc.

The Maillard Industrie Group also develops specific materials in accordance with particular criteria: fire retardant standards, chemical impermeability, defence standards, food quality, UV etc.

Low cost of equipment

Rotational moulding can be used to manufacture simple or complex parts in small or large sizes in a wide choice of designs and shapes in volumetric proportion to a spherical diameter of more than 4000 mm.

Option of obtaining parts with a grained or specific finish

Full control of the wall thicknesses

Manufacture and over-moulding of metallic inserts during the process, with the possibility of interior foaming and thread moulding etc.

Manufacture of open or closed hollow parts with a single or double wall

FINISHING:

A finishing workshop completes the installations and ensures control and assembly operations: gluing, high-frequency welding, silk screen marking and painting, riveting, and accessory and insert assembly.
